Cathy is so much more awesome if you think about it like this:

Cathy is a tranny. Specifically, Cathy is a grown-up tranny version of Charlie Brown.

Ridiculously round head. Extremely insecure. Unlucky. Prone to screaming “AAAAARGH!” The poor boy gave up on both the red-headed girl and all of his abusive “friends” and moved far away where he started a new life with a new gender.

Boris Vallejo’s Art

It’s ridiculous, often makes no sense. The anatomy is improbable, the subjects scantily clad if they’re clad at all, and it’s emblematic of everything that is cliche and embarrassing about the fantasy genre.

And I love it.

I’m not watching anymore. This guy they replaced Hartnell with is a buffoon and a clown.” “I’m not watching anymore. This guy they replaced Troughton with thinks he’s some kind of dashing action hero.” “I’m not watching anymore. What were they thinking with that scarf?” “I’m not watching anymore. This guy’s too damn young to be the Doctor.” “I’m not watching anymore. No, really. This guy sucks.” “Wait, this show is still on? God, that companion really can’t act, can she?” “The yanks made a TV movie? Really? And it counts?” “I’m glad they brought the show back from the dead, but the shaved head and leather jacket is all wrong for the Doctor.” “I’m not watching anymore. The guy they replaced Eccleston with is a prancing ponce.” “I’m not watching anymore. The guy they replaced Tennant with is a hipster twat.

Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men’s blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, but long after we are gone will be a living thing, asserting itself with ever-growing insistency. Remember that our sons and grandsons are going to do things that would stagger us. Let your watchword be order and your beacon beauty. Think big.”
—Daniel Burnham, Chicago architect. (1864-1912)
